El Helal
El Helal area is a relatively new elite and extravagant area in Dahar - it has been built up since the late 90s. Now it is rightfully considered the administrative region of Hurghada. It houses the main buildings of the city administration: the city hall, the governor's office, the city council of Hurghada (municipality), the passport and visa service, the transport police, the city court, state notaries. There are no noisy streets and merchants in El Hilal, the entire elite of the city lives here. In the area there are well-maintained villas with beautiful gardens and cozy courtyards.
From the north, the district stands on the border of the city (hereinafter referred to as the desert), from the south it borders on the El Qayadat district, near the military hospital and the park. Susan Mubarak. The area is small, its length is 1 km. El Hilal is a coastal area, some of the villas in it have their own beaches.
Most of the inhabitants of El Hilal are foreigners and the urban elite. It lacks trade, production, business, banks. There are also no markets and shops, with the exception of small markets with basic necessities and a small set of products. The area is not very rich in cultural institutions and entertainment; a calm, measured life reigns here. In the south of the district there is the Palace of Culture of Hurghada, the park and the library of Susan Mubarak.
There are many new buildings in the area, but most of them are already inhabited. Recently commissioned a large luxury residential complex Al Dora Residence, which consists of villas and apartments. It has several pools and a shopping mall.
