Old Sheraton

In fact, it is a coastal area and the road of the same name, as well as a very beautiful promenade that stretches from Sakkala street to the north towards the Marriott Hotel and the beginning of the popular Tourist Promenade. The area is named after the old Sheraton hotel, which was one of the first to appear in the still young Hurghada and currently is a ghost hotel no longer functioning. With a length of no more than 1 square meter, it is represented by a number of residential complexes and several hotels, including the famous SunRise Holidays. Despite the proximity to the center of Hurghada with many shops and cafes, there is almost no commercial infrastructure in the area, only a few iconic cafes such as Cinnabon, Corsini, Grill and several shopping islands and pharmacies at the beginning of the street.
The place is also famous for its numerous beaches, among which are the so-called "wild beaches", which are practically gone in Hurghada, used by the local population for walks and family picnics, as well as foreigners who want to swim for free.
Here is located an elite residential complex "The View" with its own beach, built almost on a mountain, the main building of which sees the sea from all apartments. The construction of the complex has not yet been completed: the next phase of the complex is growing even higher, with first-class apartments overlooking the sea, island and mountains.
The area is also popular with sports people and onlookers who go for morning runs, bike rides and walks along the picturesque waterfront.
