Mubarak 2 is the second social district of Hurghada, the construction of which began in 1996. It is located in the Tourist Center of Hurghada opposite the popular Russian district of El Kawther. From the north it borders on the Marriott Old Vic area, from the south - passes the Airport Road, from the east the El Kawther area, divided by Kamal El Din Hessan Street, from the west - the New District, which is still under construction. The area of the district is 1.8 sq. km, the length of the district is 1 km.
Not only Egyptian families live here, but also mixed ones, and many apartments were bought by Russian and Ukrainian families. Mubarak 2 is considered for middle class people. The area has a developed autonomous infrastructure - a lot of greenery, good paved roads. A distinctive feature of this area, and, in particular, of all Mubarak districts, is a wide the distances between houses in contrast to the private areas of El Kawther, Hadaba and Arabia. Distance from the sea from 700 to 1500 meters. The nearest beaches are Old Vik Beach, the beaches of the Marilyn Inn and Mashrabia hotels. Some apartments located above the 3rd floor have a sea view.

Opposite, across the road, is the El Kawther area, as well as within walking distance of the tourist promenade of El Mamsha area, where all this is in abundance. Mubarak 2 is a typical residential area, where quite a lot of Russians live.
